We have raised dairy goats since 1995. Lamanchas first, and we have tried most of the other dairy breeds at one time
or another. We have settled on raising Lamanchas and Nigerians, two very colorful, fun breeds.
Most of our 2008 kids will be for sale.
We also raise the occasional litter of Portuguese Water Dogs, and we have wonderful Anatolian Shepherds
to guard
our livestock.
Our small ranchette is located smack in the middle of farm country.
Our goal is to produce healthy long lived animals, who are true to the original function. In dairy goats, that means
that we want long lived, productive dairy goats, that milk well, and produce a good amount of kids naturally, while staying
healthy and sound.
In PWDs it means raising pups that are physically, mentally, and tempermentally sound and correct for their original
purpose of being a fisherman's best helper.
